The Garden City Family YMCA is seeking a strategic and mission-driven leader to serve
as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role provides a unique opportunity to lead visionary
and unified staff, guiding change, supporting impactful leaders, developing a healthier community,
driving collaboration, advocacy, and impact.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned and accomplished professional to take the next step in their
leadership journey, guiding a mission-driven YMCA that supports our members, donors, participants,
and anyone who walks through the doors. Our new CEO will join a dedicated staff and volunteer
team; all committed to strengthening our YMCA and expanding our impact within the community and
surrounding area we serve.
We are seeking an innovative, strategic, and community-oriented leader who will foster trust among
stakeholders, cultivate collaboration, and drive initiatives that enhance the reputation and influence
of our YMCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic initiatives that strengthen our YMCA and the community we serve
- Advocate for policies that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility
- Develop partnerships and funding opportunities to expand and build a solid foundation in
- financial development with our Annual Support or Capital Campaigns
- Prepare and coordinate the annual budget and administer the budget, exercising necessary
- controls to assure operation is consistent with budget.
- Ability to create, shape and plan the strategic direction of the YMCA
- Support local shared services, board development, and leadership training
Location: Garden City, Kansas
Salary: Salary is based on requirements and experience + benefits, including a 7% YMCA retirement
contribution
